SANIA Power AG
Cookie Policy
How this website uses browser storage and a technical security cookie, and how you may manage your privacy preferences.
This Cookie Policy describes the privacy-preference record stored locally in your browser and the technical security cookie that may be set by the website’s delivery and protection infrastructure. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which sets out the broader framework for the processing of personal data by SANIA Power AG and its subsidiaries.
The website does not use analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking, or marketing profiling. The local preference record remains on your device and does not itself transmit data to SANIA. The Cloudflare bot-protection service used in the website’s delivery infrastructure may set the technical security cookie described below.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device — your computer, tablet, or mobile telephone — when you visit it. Cookies allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits, to remember preferences you have indicated, and to function in the manner you expect. Similar technologies — including local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — operate on the same general principle and are covered by this Cookie Policy together with cookies as such.
Cookies are categorised in different ways. The most useful distinctions for the purposes of this Policy are between session cookies (which are deleted when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a defined period); and between first-party cookies (set by this website directly) and third-party cookies (set by services embedded on this website, such as analytics or video-hosting providers).
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
Technical security cookie. The Cloudflare bot-protection service used in the website’s delivery infrastructure may set a cookie named __cf_bm. According to Cloudflare, the cookie expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity and contains encrypted information related to the calculation of a bot score and, where Anomaly Detection is enabled, a session identifier. Cloudflare states that the cookie is generated separately for each site, does not correspond to a SANIA user identifier, and is not used to track visitors across sites or sessions.
Strictly necessary storage. The site stores one first-party preference record, sania-cookie-preferences, in the browser’s local storage. It contains only the visitor’s functional and analytical preference choices and the time at which they were saved.
Functional technologies. No optional functional technology is currently active.
Analytical technologies. No analytical technology is currently active.
Marketing technologies. This website does not use marketing or advertising technology and does not participate in behavioural advertising or cross-site tracking.
3. How We Obtain Your Consent
On a visitor’s first visit, the privacy panel offers three choices: accept all categories, reject optional categories, or choose individual preferences. The selected functional and analytical preferences, together with the time of the choice, are stored only in the sania-cookie-preferences record in the browser’s local storage.
Because no optional functional or analytical technology is currently active, these choices do not activate any such technology on the present website. No browser cookie is set by the consent panel. The __cf_bm technical security cookie is managed independently by the website’s protection infrastructure and is not disabled by the current privacy-preference panel.
4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You may reopen the privacy panel at any time using the Cookie preferences control in the footer and save a new choice. The new choice replaces the existing sania-cookie-preferences local-storage record.
You may also remove this record using your browser’s site-data controls. If the record is absent, invalid, or more than twelve months old, the privacy panel is shown again. Language selection and the site’s visual presentation are route- and stylesheet-based and do not depend on an optional cookie.
5. Third-Party Services and Embedded Content
This website does not currently load third-party embedded content automatically. The Contact page provides an ordinary external link to OpenStreetMap for the location of the Zug office. OpenStreetMap receives technical information only if you choose to follow that link, under its own privacy and cookie terms.
No third-party analytics, marketing, video, social-media, or mapping service is loaded within this website.
6. Retention of Cookies
The sania-cookie-preferences local-storage record is treated as valid for no more than twelve months. After that period, or if the record is removed through the browser, the website asks the visitor to make a new choice.
The __cf_bm technical security cookie expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity, according to Cloudflare.
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies and similar technologies used on this website, in applicable law, or in our practical operation of the website. The current version is the version published on this page; the date of last revision is shown below. Material changes affecting visitor consent will be drawn to attention through the cookie preference banner.
